Deepen and finish Hitty's eye indentations, cutting away the upper portion of the cheek if it is rounded up into the eye area. Carve Hitty's cheeks back one final time, if necessary, to expose the recent fine work on her features and to round out any ridges or flat areas that were created as the features were carved. Study her profile on both sides to be sure her cheeks are carved well back from her nose, lips, and chin, including her cheekbone.
