Candy Canes and Gingerbread Men

Supplies
Needed:
Fimo or Sculpy clay in brown, red, white, and yellow
Sharp cutting implement
Aluminum Foil
For the candy canes
you will need:
Fimo or Sculpy clay in red and white
Aluminum Foil

Lay out the aluminum foil to work on. You can also lift the foil up and bake on it.
Roll out a long thin tube of red, and one of white. The tubes should be about the thickness of a pipe cleaner. Twist them together with your fingers, and roll the gently on the table to smooth out the edges. Don't press too hard, as this will blend the colors.

| Cut the candy canes to the desired length. We cut them about 1" long. Gently bend the top over to form the curve. Set on foil, and bake according to the instructions that came with your brand of clay. |

For the gingerbread
men you will need:
Fimo or Sculpy clay in brown, and yellow (or colors of your choice)

Make a small oval egg-shape the size of a large pea with the brown. With a knife or other cutting implement, make the V-shaped cuts as shown to the right. Using your fingers, smooth out and round off the head, legs, and arms. |

For the eyes and mouth, form a thin tube, and cut to length. Make any decorations on your gingerbread man you desire. Set on foil, and bake according to the instructions that came with your brand of clay.
