This gallery page contains photos of Sara's recent resin shoulderhead painting in-progress, taken for future tutorials and classes. Can you believe they're all the same model? Just look what you can do with paint! Each picture contains an identical resin casting of SH2, the Hitty Melissa Model, who appears in the Basic Face Carving Tutorial. All of the faces in these pictures were painted using Liquitex Soft Body Acrylics. The resin shoulderheads pictured are not yet finished! Each head will receive coats of stain and varnish to bring out the grain in the casting.
